    JBL was founded by JAMES B LANSING. Since the beginning of 1920, JAMES B LANSING had been engaged in developing speaker technology. He started a business in 1946, and established JBL company. He dead untimely, but the JBL company he founded was long lasting, leading the audio industry for 50 years, and become the giant of the loudspeaker manufacturer.

   Cooperated with Harman, JBL gradually have the prototype: a audio manufacturer which applies the professional cinema and studio audio system technology in the field of household audio. The company applied the 4310 and 4311 listener (be welcomed to studio) technology in L100 household speaker system in 1969. L100 obtained a great success, its sales reached more than 100000 in 1970s.
