    1992年，Sony（新力索尼）公司首次生产出了一种和卡式磁带随身听体积相似、但使用一种可反覆擦写的数位存储介质的新型随身听——MiniDisc Walkman，从此拉开淘汰类比信号音乐的帷幕，并开创了便携式数位音响的全新里程碑。

    MD is the logogram of minidisc, is also known as MD disc and MD disc apparatus. Diameter of a MD disc was 6.4cm, and there was a rectangular plastic shell slightly larger than the surface to protect the MD disc.

  In 1992, Sony company first produced a Minidisc Walkman, which was as big as cassette walkman, but used repeatedly erased digital storage medium, then started eliminating analog signal music, and creating a new milestone of portable digital audio.
