    1962年，由荷兰飞利浦公司研发出卡式磁带。是一种用于记录声音、图像、数字或其他信号的载有磁层的带状材料，是产量最大和用途最广的一种磁记录材料。通常是在塑料薄膜带基（支持体）上涂覆一层颗粒状磁性材料（如针状γ-Fe2O3磁粉或金属磁粉）或蒸发沉积上一层磁性氧化物或合金薄膜而成。最早曾使用纸和赛璐珞等作带基，现在主要用强度高、稳定性好和不易变形的聚酯薄膜。

Equipment introduction:

    In 1962, the Dutch company Philips developed cassette . The strip material containing magnetic layer is for recording voice, images, digital or other signals and it is the largest output and most versatile magnetic recording materials. Usually, it is made of coating  a layer of granular magnetic material (such as acicular gamma-Fe2O3 magnetic particle or powder metal) or deposing a layer of magnetic oxide or alloy film on the plastic film base (support). At the earliest time, paper and celluloid were used as the base, now we mainly use the polyester film which is high strength, good stability and hard to deform.
