    成立于1883年的Thorens多能士必定称得上始祖级的音响品牌了。虽然成立之初Thorens只是以生产音乐盒为主业，但凭着她秉承了瑞士人精良手工技术的优势，Thorens在音乐播放器材的工业革命中扮演了不可或缺的角色。

    Thorens在1929年取得专利的直驱式唱机马达的问世，标志着唱盘进入电器时代。1957年Thorens推出了世界上第一部双重结构的转盘TD124，从而成为了电唱机进入家庭的代表作，并且开启了TD产品系列的光辉里程。1964年Thorens采用独特的浮动悬挂（Floating Suspension）技术生产出TD150，令唱盘的重播效果得到极大的提升。

    Thorens的经营权重新回到瑞士人的手中，但生产依然保留在德国工厂里完成。随着时代Thorens的产品不断进化，在LP唱片时代，作为高级唱机品牌而确立了地位。

    Thorens established in 1883 must be regarded as the ancestor class audio brand. Although at the beginning of the Thorens’ establishment, it only majored in  producing music box, but in virtue of her adhering to the advantage of Swiss sophisticated manual techniques, Thorens plays an indispensable role in the industrial revolution of the music playback equipment.

    In 1929, Thorens patented direct drive turntable motor, signing turntable into electrical era. In 1957, Thorens launched a dual structure turntable TD124 of the world's first, which became the representative of family phonograph, and open the mileage of TD products series. In 1964, Thorens used the unique floating suspension technology to produce a TD150, make the turntable replay effect greatly improved.

    Although Thorens’ franchise came back to Swiss, its production was still preserved in German factories. With the constant evolution of Thorens products, it established the position as a senior player brand in the LP era.
