Equipment introduction:

     Webster CHICACO mainly produced the phonograph and recording equipment, public broadcasting system, amplifiers, radios and power from the 1940s to the mid-1950s.

    In 1945, Webster Chicago became to Licensee of the amour research foundation, and started to manufacture wire recorder, the first product is a version of the armor of the military, and sold wire recorders to the United States Navy. Stainless steel wire medium applied perfectly in military, because it can withstand extreme temperature and climate change. At the end of World War II, Webster Chicago continued to produce wire recorder, this brought a new product line to the civilian market.

  Webster Chicago brand is the best-selling wire recording machine, and it was the professional model in office dictation usage and private consumption market.  These units have a very realistic sound quality, especially in some of the later high-end models, so that the cabinet and amplifying circuit was redesigned, especially in order to better frequency respond.
